Choose the right lens for indoor use

In an indoor working environment, it is important to define your accuracy requirements for your professional tasks and to assess your blue light exposure risks. 

The higher the visible light transmission percentage (the light you see with the naked eye), the more the lens will transmit a high percentage of that light. Therefore, the closer the transmission is to 100%, the closer we are to visible light without wearing spectacles, which favours vision accuracy. 

Computer screens and LED lighting emit blue-enriched light which can have physiological effects (such as sleeping disorders) and can damage the retina. Therefore, it is important to choose lenses that provide high protection from blue light for professionals subjected to intense artificial lighting and for those who spend many hours in front of a screen.
Choose the right lens for indoor use

ANTI GLARE PRESCRIPTION

Anti-glare, water repellent, anti-static and reinforced anti-scratch coating
Lenses without anti-glare coating result in a reduction of light transmission of 10 to 15%, thereby penalising visual quality. Anti-glare coated lenses are perfectly transparent and transmit 99% of light.

ANTI-GLARE B-ZEN PRESCRIPTION

The B-Zen coating was designed for people exposed to blue light and digital tools
This water-repellent, anti-glare, anti-static, anti-scratch coating filters about 20% of undesirable blue light and gives:

Glare protection:

Glare is a difficulty in seeing in the presence of strong light. 
Vision is altered by too intense light. 
When working outdoors, regardless of the conditions, it is important to provide glare protection.


Contrast enhancement:

Contrast is the difference in light between light and dark. Strengthening it makes it possible to better assess the details of our sight in order to be more accurate in more restrictive environments (dark/night for example).
